Kindergarten enrollment takes place in late April, for the following school year. Beginning in late February, parents may schedule an appointment for the KIDS test (Kindergarten Inventory Development Skills). This test is given to all potential kindergarten students, and measures gross and fine motor skills, and other general kindergarten readiness factors.
Re-enrollment begins at the end of April each year, and students who are currently enrolled at CPRS have a 2-week time frame during which they may re-enroll.
Open Enrollment begins after the 2-week re-enrollment period ends – usually around the second week of May.
Students may enroll at CPRS at any time during the school year, provided there is room in the class. If a class has reached capacity, enrollment may be requested, and will be considered by the administration on a case-by-case basis.
individuals wishing to enroll a student should contact the CPRS school office for information or to schedule an appointment for an interview and visit. Potential students should bring previous school records if available, as well as social security number, birth certificate number, and immunization records.
